100 Push-ups progress:

Week 3, Day 1
-sweet jebus, I must've done something wrong in either week 1 or week 2, because I am fucking dying here

-pathetic - I'm doomed to repeat this week

-wow, didn't exactly finish the week with a bang; I'll have to repeat as I couldn't do the required - shit

-yeah, still a bitch

-much easier - of course, I dropped from column 2 to column 1
Week 4, Day 1
-so I fucked up and missed day 3 last week - day one this week kinda sucks

-at this rate I'll be doing this shit through next spring - they aren't any easier and I still suck

-not fun, but not impossible
Week 4, Day 3 (take 2)
-I can definitely do more push-ups now than when I started
Week 5, Day 1
-ugly, but I managed to finish the set
Week 5, Day 2
-sneaky bastards added 3 sets - the last 25 almost killed me
Week 5, Day 3
-man, that's a lot of push-ups - missed last set by 8
Week 5, Day 1 (take 2)
-since I was out of town most of last week, I'm doing week 5 again before moving to week 6
Week 5, Day 2 (take 2)
-finished the set without much difficulty
Week 5, Day 2 (take 3)
-last set of 30 was tough - this coming week is going to suck
Week 6, Day 1
-25, 30, 20, 15, 40 - WTF?!? I'm hurtin' (and no, I didn't make it)
Week 6, Day 2
-literally collapsed in a heap during the final set - christ, I did 136 in less than 10 minutes - I'm never getting to 100 at one time

-starting over on the final week b/c I got sick and had to delay the final set - staring at the final set of 40 - good god
Week 6, Day 2 (take 2)
-missed the final set of 44 by 7 - not too shabby
Week 6, Day 2 (take 3)
-done - finally! still have the take the final "test"

Portland Public Access TV

I just finished watching "Farrakhan Teach!", Minister Louis Farrakhan's program recorded in Chicago and rebroadcast here in Portland on public access TV. Immediately following Minister Farrakhan? Sister Paula. Sister Paula is a 70 year old transgendered 'woman' who reads from the bible and sing hymns. Now, I hate religion, but for some reason I'm absolutely enthralled by Louis Farrakhan and can watch him for hours, even when he calls me devil. I feel the same way about Sister Paula, I hate religion, but I can watch Sister Paula and for whatever reason I have more respect for her than for any other preacher I've ever seen.
